I've seen some of those car alarms which include some beepers and whats seems like a mini celphone that keeps track of pretty much everything your car is doing (it knows when somebody opens up your hood, trunk, doors, etc.) Which companies make those kind of alarms and which ones are actually worth it? I know it wouldn't be much help having those since by the time we find out somebody's opening our **** and we get to our cars, those ******* will be across mexico or something. But I know it helps somehow

The recent thread about car alarms someone else posted didn't provide as much info as I want so I hope I'd be able to get more posts in this one. AND NOOO i don't want to hear shotguns as the best car alarm, We gotta end violence and where else is the best place to start but in HT hahahaha
i got the viper 790 xv and its really good, i had a contract on it where a company monitor your car and if your car moves a certain distance, maybe someone stole it, cops will know exactly where your car is located and the viper will call your cell phone and tell you the location of your car. it never happened to me but i like the alarm. they have the new one out VIPER 791 XV, that one looks better and on MTV pimp my ride, the one with the civic, they installed it in and you can record you voice on it like what Xzibit did which is pretty kewl
i didnt even read your whole post so sorry if im off pace here, but i just wanted to say that anything that pages is good,
but the most important thing is the install, if your going to have it done for you, pay the extra money and have them hide the brain in a wierd *** location, just not under the steering collum (sp?).
and make sure they wrap everything up clean. so you cant blatanly see all the alarms wiring.,
but a tracking unit is something really good to look into, and theres alot of cheaper and better alternatives to lojack out there now.
