How do you take out an altenator from a EK civic

Default How do you take out an altenator from a EK civic

Only one bolt is left on the altenator its the bolt that secures it to the bracket on the bottom of the altenator. I been rocking it back and forth but I don't know what I have too do 2 actually take it off. Can anyone help this newbieeeeee

yeah buddy im sure this has been covered before..

but you have to remove the halfshaft in order to have enought space to drop it down from the bottom. if what you are reffering to is that you cannot get it loose off the bracket, simply pry it off with a pry bar or a long flathead screwdriver, only that long bottom one and the top bolt with nut (the tightener) hold it on.

K I have never done this before so is there anyone out there who can write a complete how to guide on taking an altenator out without removing the axel on an EK
