Default Which springs go up front???

HI, i got a set of tanabe df210 springs for my agx's.
question is which set of springs go up front and which in the rear. ive covered this topic a while back and thought i was pretty sure, but something came up today that had me second-guesing myself...

Set "A" and linear(meaning that the spring coils are egual all the way down) and is VERY stiff.

Set "B" are progressive( meaning that the coils arent egual all the way down, some close together and some spread further apart) and is softer than the other ones.

so, which go in front and which in rear?

EDIT_ Here's a PIC -> http://store.finalstageauto.net/tadfdrfohci.html

thx and God Bless
Happy Easter-Remember what its about

Robert

set a go in the front to add extra stiffness due to the weight of the motor....set b goes in the back because of the less weight...that way the back isn't bouncy as hell and the front is soft.

that stinks. some one else told me differently...
i took of my rear struts first. the stiffer springs fit my rear agx's perfect and ive allready got them assembled. just took off the front struts today. i went to see how
the tanabe springs(softer ones) fit the front agx's....and they dont i guess they both fit the year strut and only the stiff ones fit the front struts...

thnks for the info

Put the stiffer springs in the back.

how about u get linear springs all the way around? Then choose custom spring rates designed for your application? Progressive rate springs suck. Proggressive rate springs have too much slop for performance enthusiasts in mind. They are just designed for the average joe who doesnt want to sacrifice ride and get a little bit of performance.

It depends on what u want to do with your car. Also I have no idea what engine u have in your car or what the spring rates are, and what u want to do with it. Its truly an unfair question without all the facts.

Truthfully I wouldnt have two different style of springs on my car. Anyways a stiffer spring in the rear of the car will give it oversteer. Depending on spring rates, depends on how much. Hondas generally have understeer and need a stiffer spring in the rear to balance out the handling. Not to mention sway bars, and better shocks do help too. If I had the choice I would prolly run the linears in the front cuz it supports the weight better (no soft cushion, keeps a lowered car from hitting the ground a bit better), and will have a better handling response and driver feedback. The only problem is that it may understeer pretty bad. If u want to do it right get linear springs like Eibach race springs all the way around with some good shocks like the Koni adjustables, and some anti-sway bars. Thats what I would reccomend

umm if its a 92-00 civic, the longer ones go in the front, shorter in the back. springs are linear/progressive depending on the manuf.
