I have a Auto Power Roll Bar from my EG Hatch Back,
I wanted to know if it will fit in my EK Coupe? The EK coupe I have is the HX with no sunroof if that matters.
Anyone tried this before? Also Pictures? Fitment issues you guys came across?
Thanks In Advance!

I have an Autopower roll bar (4 point) for an eg in an ek hatch and it fits okay. I am not running any rear interior pieces so I can't tell you where it would have gone through the rear side panels.

your 97% percent no longer suprises me
better to have a roll bar that serves some purpose IE fits
the answer to your ? is no it leans back and will most likely kill you in an accident or if you try to have sex in your car

i was told the bar i purchased used was for an eg, but it fits quite nicely in my 96 coupe. height is perfect, brushes up against the headliner. sides are tight, had to trim the interior pieces a little in one spot on both sides. the supports go through the interior pieces like they're supposed to, so two circles had to be cut into them.
if you're not using your interior, then it's a non-issue, it will fit fine.

Thanks for the feedback. I honestly dont think he had the bar installed personally so i think he was just talking about of his a.ss like most people on HT.
thanks again ruthless013 for the positive comments.

No I don't do dumb *** things like try to fit Eg tailor made parts into an EK when my life is depending on it
especially when the EK is wider which most likley puts the useless ricer bar closer to my head
255 and you don't have to even wonder

Do you know the in-car fitment is not similar enough to work properly?

stands to reason if the floor pan is widder at the door seam that the main hoop would be closer to the drivers head.
The only one I did see firsthand leaned back ever so slightly though I didn't look at the width since I was peeping through the quarter window.
Personally I don't care much for autopowers off the shelf and would rather wait the 3 weeks to get one slightly bigger than stock since all the off the shelf stuff had a decent gap between it and like the headliner
either way you can sell it easy and buy a new EK version for 250 from either I/O port or Options

If you looked how the EG application fits in the actual car, it sits farther back then it should.
So with that said, even the application what the roll bar was made for might not even work properly.
