any one know how we get bunnies, eggs, and chocolate out of a crucifixion?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Well, I can answer some of that.
The name "Easter" is foreign to ancient Christianity, and Orthodoxy still commonly uses words for the celebration that relate to the ancient use of words like Pascha and Paschal.
There was a Saxon fertility demigod names Ester or Oesther, her celebration was at the Vernal Equinox, and one of her symbols was the prolific bunny.
So that's where the Easter Bunny comes from. Not sure about the chocolate.
The egg has always been associated with Paschal celebrations because (1)it has always been a symbol of new life and (2)ancient Christians took the Lenten fast very seriously, especially during Holy Week itself, and boiled eggs were very easily carried so their fast could be broken after the resurrection service.

I think she was kind of afraid of us. She just couldn't handle how JDM Chad and Jessie were.
