when i drive down the road, i can apply slight pressure on the gas pedal, and the car will studder for a few seconds, then it will catch and pull ... i replaced the spark plugs and distrib cap and wires. any ideas?

how is the car running thats the question
Code 1 O2 sensor (this could be the problem)
Code 7 TPS (this makes your car run like **** with this light)
code 17 VSS (this is fine, i get this code daily)
code 20 ELD (do a search, this is ok to have )


so yeah.. broke it down for ya.. have fun

 

7 is throttle angle.. but how do i fix this i search on honda-tech still no jiggy brah

code 7, hmm bad TPS or not connected properly. What's the motor and ECU in your rex??? your ecu should be code free.

 

check some of those things out then try reseting the ecu..do you have good ground connections,any vacum leaks and are they all hooked up correctly?check your timing...good luck

 

I had the same problem, its your o2 sonsor, your car runs rich when you throw a cel and its code 1, it runs in a "limp" mode and dumps more fuel then nessary. -Ben

motor is a hf, with si eccu ( didnt do it prev owner did) i figured out whut it was...

my distribby came loose from the screws and i guess messed up my timing. damn i need a timing gun..
