Another great idea from the people who brought the foam pit to import drag racing.

Hey Big Mike, we try not to take away from the racers. The stuff on stage does not go on while the Pros are running. Yet why is it the Pros are the ones who complain about this? If You will notice Mike, most of the guys on this thread are street racers and they are'nt complaining, except that they will not get to see all of it. No fear though, the only racing that this will interfere with is the open session at night.

Quick note, the racers will be the managers for these girls.

its becoming the carnival meets racing.
not sure we are on the right track here for the growth of a sport.

I think it's because you guys don't go out there. I would think that if there were any good tracks out there that you would. I remeber when we went out to Palmdale to a Nopi race two years ago. I couldn't get over how bad that track truly is. Where I live there are 5 great tracks with in 4 hours of me. There most be something like 5 OK tracks within an hour and a half from my house that are better than Palmdale. What ever happened to that new track Drag City that is being built out there that looks to be a nice place? Why aren't there any races in Pomona anymore?

Pomona does have races, Summit Sport Compact. Drag City is still being built, but looks like it will be awesome.

Not looking down at NOPI itself. Just looking down at the Jello Wrestling that has been included to the event.

But I guess we have to realize that NOPI is an ENTERTAINMENT minded company.
I know most of the race series have to include other stuff too such as car shows and sounds offs. But Jello Wrestling? come on. I know its creative, but i think its a bit overboard for the image of the sport.

It is an event that goes on after dark. The only racing going on is the open session/test & tune. Most of our racers are very active in the after party stuff. The ones who don't care about it, I assume don't stick around unless they are wrenching on thier cars. What better way to unwind than being able to go dance, listen to an awesome Dj and watch pretty girls? Do You not see the same stuff at clubs during Spring Break?

i think it doesnt even matter what they do at these race events.... as long as racers get to race and there is a prize to win, then it dont matter whats at those races... whatevers that will let us race then its all good to me !
