another hid question? reguarding my install today

another hid question? reguarding my install today
here are the pics
not to good
I have some d2r phillips bulbs w/casper shields. But i also wired it up to my high beam wire. Could that be my problem, or do i just need to align it better.
As it is right now I have almost no light infront of me, no cutoff line at all

even w/o looking at the pics, it is pretty typical to have less than mediocre lighting output. what u need is a projector designed for hid lighting. check out the hid thread in the archives.

I might not have projectors right now but i have seen alot of non projector hid setups that put out alot more light than mine.
I got the setup basically free, I just had to buy the casper shields so i want to try and get it working the best it can right before i go to a projector setup which i am already planning right now

doesnt have any bearing on the output (just think about it).
make sure the bulbs are sitting like the stock h4 bulbs, and that the shields are oriented in the correct position (should be blocking light from bottom of the bulb. heres some pics of h4 based d2r bulbs w/ shields in my stock usdm lights:
just need to aim them a tad lower =P
btw, turn off your flash when u take pics of your lights

I guess my headlights are aimed just too damn low
Everything is oriented corectly. I have no beam pattern on wall unless my bumper is almost touching the wall
