Default how to tell if its a b16a tranny?

okay before you flame....read.

about 2 years ago i bought a swap w/ y80 gsr tranny, when i crashed my old car, the front tranny mount broke taking the tranny shell with it. i went to a shop and bought a b16a sirII tranny with some cash plus my gsr tranny core. it took a couple of days.

when i got my new tranny i never really paid attention to it, coz i was just happy get my car running again. NOW! i think that the shop just took my old y80 core and resold it to me claming its from a b16a sirII. there are no markings what so ever on the casing of the tranny. and its been a year and a half since i got it and that shop has closed down.

when im on the freeway going 80mph im @ 400RPM. and my car pulls really hard on 3rd gear.
