Default all, right, i'm getting confused here!

okay, i was browsing HT, and also Honda-Swap.com, and i have a couple questions:

first off, i have a '90 CRX Si, with a JDM B16A swap... i was really looking into tranny info, since i have a J1 tranny... to the best of my knowledge, the J1 tranny is from a '91 Teg Xsi, though i could very well be mistaken...

now comes the confusing part: when i was reading the references over on H-S, i saw that my ECU- PR3-J00- came in '92 JDM B16A Tegs... well, isn't '92 OBD1? does it make sense to run an OBD1 ECU in an OBD0 engine? or will that make a difference... to my knowledge, it's still OBD0...

also, WTF is up with Honda Tranny codes? friggin S80 could be anything from a crappy LS tranny to an LSD equipped JDM ITR tranny...

does anyone know about the J1 trannies? are they just basically
S1 trannies with a different stamp on them??

also, under the B16A stamp on the block, it says '1201827'... is there a way of determining what car the engine came out of by that number?

or am i just ****?

thanks...

well, my J1 either doesn't have an LSD, or it is totally worn out... my left tire spins like a mother-f....

bump, for answers to the other Qs...

you said your left tire spins like a *****? well LSD is what makes both your tires spin as opposed to just one...so i'd say no, you don't have the LSD option.
