Default 1/4 mile E/T 19.82 Reaction .600 ???

see i went to the track yesterday with my dual point 1.5 89 civic. (swap out of a 90 crx) well i dont know if these are good times or what my car is stock as stock gets but what is up are these right what dose every one else get?

well, the 19.82 ET is nothing to write home about, but the .600 reaction time is pretty good...

good reaction time, the 1/4 mile kinda bites, but not that far off from my 18.xx in my 90 1.5hb.

as far as a stock Civic goes, it's a bit slow, but you really aren't going to go much faster without mods... my buddy runs high 16's and low 17's in his basically stock '90 DX...

nothing is wrong with your car... you bought an economy car. you have to sink some $$$ into it to get it to go faster...

you could most likely get into the 18's with some seat time, but not much better without mods...

My STOCk Civic would do 17's.... MPFI went into 16's....

MPFI is a LOT better than DPI... like a second better in the 1/4...

yeah bro good reaction time for a beginner or stock car

but the et sucks a bit

no dis but my four stock got a 18.2 at 2000 above sea level

and well it is good to practice u know

get for sure a MPFI **** that dual point unless u want to save gas and not race it or have fun
