the place you took it to is bs'ing you. its simple to get around a low car when you change your oil.

what my dad and i did was just jack up the rear, then put a couple of jack stands there, take the jack out, and jack up the front near the front wheels area.

find a parking lot of an out of business store and do it there. if cops give you a hard time, tell them you broke down.

thats fucked up that your friends won't let you use their driveways and garages

Yeah just go to a parking lot or something or try autozone. Most autozone's (around here at least) will let you work on your car in their parking lot. If you can't do either of those just buy your own synthetic oil and go to the Jiffy Lube that changed your oil before.

When I had my integra, it was slammed...my foot would barly get under the side of my car (up to the laces on my shoes).

Honda in Concord never had a problem with the oil or anything.

bring with you 2 long 4x4 peices of wood, put it on the lift and drive up it. i do it all the time. oil change is to much work to be doing it yourself when you can just pay the 20 and be done with it in 10min. if you do it yourself, you still need a place to dispose of the old oil, and you are going to do it right, it will cost a arm and a leg to have someone come pick it up.

self oil change, unless you have a oil pit

just paying the 2o bucs and being done with it.

i hate having people do it, i can never trust that they tighten the bolt correctly and if they put in a new washer (even though they may tell you they do)

shouldve done it in at parking lot.

if your car is on coilovers raise it up a little? most shops will accept it , and most will not. its not worth it to them to rip off your bumper or get 4 guys to help get your car on the lift to just change your oil then have you come back and say oh wait, you guys scratched my front bumper. so most places will say no we cant do it. my suggestion isl ike everyone elses, goto a parking lot and do it. an oil change takes less than a half hour. my complex doesnt allow it either but i still do it. theyve threatened to tow my car, i just got loud with them. do what u gotta do and just dont take too long.
