Want to drop h22 into ek in nyc...
but i cannot do it myself because of no skill or tools. Does anyone know of any shops in the NYC tri-state area that could handle the swap?? Thanks, i appreciate it
I personally can't recommend any shop in NYC b/c I don't know the area, but as for my opinion, I think you should try and do it yourself. It is an amazing learning experience and the only "difficult" part is the wiring harness or you can just buy one for a couple hundred dollars. Other than that, it's pretty easy. I understand you don't have the tools, but 90% of everything is don't with a ratchet and metric sockets. you can nearly disassemle a honda motor with 10,12,14,17, and 19 mm sockets.
Thanks for the response. I'm leaning towards an ek hatch and id like to have something unique amd powerful, so i was thinking the h22. But, for me to swap it in myself, ive never even changed the oil in a car, i really dont think it would be a good idea for me to try it myself, yet. So maybe a good reliable shop would be a better idea, i just dont know of any in the nyc area that would be capable of that swap
