I actually had 1st Gen Si that felt considerably faster than my current 88 CRX with SOHC ZC.

I had one too. I think there's just something about fearing for you life that makes it feel faster.

Like a 2g is any safer. I hate how people on this board dis 1g's. They are great cars. Any TRUE Honda driver/owner would respect these cars greatly because they basicly started the sports compacts in the states. And go autocrossing where there are some 1g's and prepare to get your *** handed to you. I have both a 1g and 2g. I'd take the 1g over the 2g anyday even tho my 2g has a b16a. Respect don't hate.

Either way I wish I could afford the quad carb setup you got. That'd be hot in my 87.

I agree with lvbuckeye, I have seen those 1G CRX's with LS/VTEC running 12's on the 1/4 mile track here in PR . And with the B16A running in the 13's and 14's all the time

I have an 87 CRX with just the B16A and no mods It runs in the 14's with very bad traction problems (Ran with 175/60/13 tires :-( )

I miss my 85 Si and my 86 Dx.

All I have left of either is a huge pile of spare parts.
