what axles do ineed to build a custom drive axle for a b-18a in 89 civic?

Yes you only need to remove the seal behind the knuckle that seal the axles on the knuckle

Depends on what intermediate shaft (aka jack shaft, aka half shaft) you are using. Tell us what that is and I will tell you what axles you need.
