Can;t adjust FPR
I have a code 1 cell, and have had it since the swap...
About three weeks ago I installed my new 370cc injectors and knew that I was going to run rich. I can't exactly remeber if I was able to adjust the pressure right away afterward, but I do know that it never changed. I checked to plugs and could tell that I was running rich because there were all black after some driving. Could this have had something to due to the improper gapping of the spark plugs?
It idles at 42 psi and never really changes at idle. Once you rev the motor up(quickly), the FP gauge actually dips down 4, maybe 6 psi, the more, the higher the rpm, but never more then 6.
As of late I have had some bad bogging down, and so I decided to check the plugs, they were fairly white. Also when I noticed the plugs were abnormally white, I went to pressureize my fuel system and could tell the fuel pump was making a different noise, like a lower pitch and for a little while the fuel pressure was ideling around 39.
This is stumping me and I am starting to get a little pisssed at not being able to control my fuel. Any ideas? I really appreciate all the help

UPDATE: my fuel pump is fine, the noise has returned to normal. As for the FPR I think that it is still off. I was thinking that maybe It is the FPR itself, adn that I should just get a new one. I have been adjusting it a bite, especially of late. Is it possible that it is worn out or malfunctioning? Just want to hear someone else's .02.
Thanks for the help guys!
