Alright here's what you do ... find a nice red brick, drive up to a canyon somewhere (with a nice cliff), pull the e-brake, place the brick on the pedal, get out or just hop into the passenger seat, pull the e-brake down and watch that puppy tear it up.

Sure why not. I've got a friend trying to make his auto 97 Grand Am Se fast, hahaha...Had to resort to nos cuz he's too scared to do engine work since it's his daily driver..

Anyway, you can make it fast, maybe not running 13's or 14's without some really heavy mods, but you can still make it fast. I don't know much about automatics and ECU's but maybe you can edit the ecu a little and change shift points etc to help out. They did make b16's for automatics ya know, so they musta thought the people who don't wanna drive stick still want a little power.

Or you could just do the simple thing and swap it over to a manuual tranny... It will cost a pretty penny but if your looking for speed do that and an H22 swap and you will be set

how many miles on the engine???

turboing would be more cost effective than an h22 swap....but then reliablilty becomes an issue....

no matter WHAT, ur gonna wanna get a manual tranny....honda ATs cant take that much of a beating

TURBO F22/H22 - Accord 5spd (w/ an LSD would be realllll nice).....longer gears help u to keep @ high spool/boost
NA F22/NA H22 - H22/Prelude tranny w/ OEM LSD....gears are shorter, perfect match for a well built NA engine

i would shy away from boosting an h22....very high compression and aluminum internals ....ud need to do some work on it to make it even somewhat reliable
