^bump for bouncing between the 750 & 850 as well. To add to the question...on Cliffords website it seems to me that they list "Blackjax" as part of either model. I went to a local shop and they told me it would be extra for that and the main difference between the 750 & 850 is that the 750 has the.....****, I am drawing blanks on the name of it but it's basically a sensor to detect glass breakage. The 850 comes with the proximity sensor, but any sensor could be added at a later date. Anyone have experience with these?

Really? I heard the avantguard doesn't have a pager... I was having trouble finding the diff between the 850 and avantguard. So it looks like the avantguard is the best you can buy?

from clifford's website:
" Intelliguard 750 The progressive upgrade of product features continues with the new G5 IntelliGuard 750, which includes the Blackjax5 anti-carjacking system, plus a remotely adjustable dual-zone OmniSensor, as well as a G5 audio / glass break sensor, with three auxiliary channels.
Intelliguard 850 The pinnacle of G5 security systems, the new IntelliGuard 850 features the famous Clifford OmniSensor, as well as a remotely adjustable proximity sensor, with on-board relays for door locks, parking lights and domelight. "
"Avantguard 5
Take the final steps up to the very top of the G5 line: the AvantGuard 5. The Mount Everest of combined vehicle security and remote start systems, the only system in the G5 line with the SSPS Smart Self Powered Siren. Plus the protection of three sensors: OmniSensor, remotely adjustable Proximity Sensor, and Digital Tilt sensor. When the question is "What is the very best security and remote start system in the world," the answer is the Clifford AvantGuard 5! "

i hope that answers all of your questions

Hmm... looks like what I'll be going with. I couldn't find the AG5 stuff on the website though, which is why I was curious. I'll have to look a little harder. Thanks for the info!

EDIT* My bad, the AG 5 was under security/starter not the security section like the 850.

My local store I think still has a Clifford G4 Solaris brand new in the box. They also have a Concept 100. The Solaris is a kick *** alarm. Cheaper than an advantguard 5 but has almost all the same features. Few less but who actually uses the nightvision. I would suggest using that one. I can get a price for you if you are interested in it.
