Default A question for 2point6 about manual tensioner

I just did the manual conversion today. On your write up you list 9 items. I only used five. The three bolts the washer the spring and the pulley. What are the other items you listed. Looks to me like balancing belt pieces. I'm a bit confused why you put those in there. Im simply using the old h22 balancer belt peices. Perhaps you could clear up my confusion. And oh boy is it hard to get the belt on. I tried for an hour with no luck. I guess I will just try and sit it on the end of the cam gears and give it hell. Only problem is the right cam gear always wants to move. Anyway and insight would really help.

Off the top of my head I KNOW you need the following if you reuse the H22 balancer belt stuff

manual tensioner
black "nipple" for the tensioner spring
tensioner bolt that goes into the block
washer
i "think" another nipple that the tensioner pivots on

That might be it, 5 things
