Default Project: "self-funded race car"

Just wanted to post a pic of Yoni's new setup. He and I busted our butts for the last 3 weeks to get her ready for the dyno next week. He funded the entire build out-of-pocket with no financial sponsor help or free parts whatsoever. Yoni and I fabricated all the major components including manifold, piping, cage, etc. ourselves to keep costs low.

You might remember his car from previous posts as the "stock B16A w/ turbo" black hatch that ran 10.98 @ 124.68 and he is hoping to improve dramatically with this new setup and built motor.

He'll have to chime in with some more specs. Wish him luck!

I like cars like that.

It's so much fun to listen to people in the pits hate on new / different ideas.

I'm sure we'll be up there for a few events. We are taking the car today to have the cage NHRA inspected and stickered.

Yoni is going to kill me for this one....here is a video of him racing on the old setup running low 11s / high 10s with the bone stock B16 and turbo. It has a few quick shots of the new build mixed in with the old footage.

Looking good man...

The pictures don't do justice to how clean and sweet this car really is...
