What do you guys feel is the best header out there for the 1994 honda accord LX? I am thinking of going with something cheap, like Pacesetter. Only like $150.00.

I have a near stock car, I am just looking for some more performance out of the vehicle without the noise.

look at the top of this forum there is some very usefull info in that accord basics thread by one of the moderators

 

you get what you pay for. you wont find much performance without making a lil more noise. in the performance world (most the time) noise equals power because it means less restriction. thats why aftermarket intakes are louder than stock, after market exhaust are louder than stock, and aggressive aftermarket cams make vtec louder but if you just want a tiny bit more power go with a cheap intake, a dc sports header, and custom mandrel bent 2.25 inch piping with a resonator and a magnaflow (or whatever you want) muffler. it might even be a good idea to try and find an apexi WS muffler because they are very quiet. or you can buy the whole catback system. my friend has it on his civic and its beyond quiet. sounds good too when its WOT. good luck
