best/most trustworthy SoCal shops?
Curious what the best shops around SoCal are since it seems impossible to find a competent, trustworthy shop to offer any help to the average enthusiast. So anyone have any good shops and experiences they'd like to share and recommend around the SoCal, LA, Orange County regions?
i would recommend inlinefour. they are very trust worthy and know hondas and acuras very well. they might be kinda of high in price but you get what you pay for

Yea, I know what you mean in regards to reliable shops in the SoCal (LA/San Diego) region....I've been dealing with them for over 2 years now, only a few I can "trust."
Orange County/LA = Inline Four (Gardena), Stillen (Costa Mesa), or AutoBacs (Stanton...just for parts selection though, not motor/car work)
San Diego = Speed Alliance (Kearny Mesa/Miramar Area). These guys are the ONLY, and I mean ONLY, shop I have found around there that is up front and honest about their parts/ delivery times
I always recommend that you get some background info on the items your looking for (internet, shop around, call up, etc.) before dealing with anyone. The price and shipping times will change, quite a bit at times, when you know what the part/item you want is located and coming from, what it's made out of, and the average price it goes for on the market. I remember that Suspension and brake parts were close to half the price they are now here in SoCal, but then the D1 popped up (great race!) and tires/brakes/sus upgrades all went through the roof in price.
ANYWAYS, good luck shopping!
