Project: Get Rid Of The Useless Shit
Well today I gutted my car seeming that I can only have one extra passenger and myself, now I wont be getting the unwanted hey can we have a ride type ****. Took everything off my car trying to find all the rattles and to my surprise, there was tonnes of loose and broken pieces of unwanted garbage inside my panels and everything, I shed about 200lbs from taking everything out and I also took out the subs that were in the back. All in all I'm glad that I did it, feels like there's a lot more pull.
Here's some pics:

200 pounds! Are you planning on removing the sound deading matierial? I have heard that dry-ice works the best if you do.
How much louder is the car now?

much louder lol...... doesn't bother me though, but ****.... this A'PEXi GT Spec exhaust is pretty much the loudest thing I've heard lol
it shall be left naked, and the sound deadening comes out as soon as I can get a whole free day.

I wouldnt suggest peeling that plastic off the very rear of your hatch. Its covers the wires and grounds for the rear lights, and it shouldnt really be exposed. As far as the speaker sides, thats fine.. and the floor is cool. I was told by Honda technicians that its not good to do that. Looks like my rear, minus my cage..

if your car was crappy and old enough, like mine, then you could do what i did and grind all that dead crap and the paint off with a wire brush and a high-speed drill.. takes a few days but hey, you'll have a brand new hatch
..... just make sure you put up a cover sheet between the hatch and the rest of the car cause that deadening **** will FLY!!
oh yeah, that hatch SCREAMS strut bar!

Did you take 200 lbs of stuff out of the interior to compensate for 200 lbs added to the exterior with wings and body kits?

Was that how you remove the sound deadening material? Man, you wasted too much time on that. There is other way to remove the deadening material in several hours rather than few days!!! Thing dry ice!!!

i actually enjoy my rear speakers, seats and sub. whatever floats your boat.
i dont know why people like to make their cars look like theft recovery rides. I guess its easier than cutting down the cheeseburgers and getting on a treadmill
