I was in search of some Focal Grills and tweeter mounting cups for my 165k2's and the only dealer in San Antonio (custom sounds) would not even lift a finger to help me. ALL 4 LOCATIONS!!!

Anyways i called the Focal Distributor and they called me back today and are going to send me out a new set free of charge. Big thumbs up for Sue.

Why can't some of these big shops just learn a little about customer service. I may not be making a high dollar purchase right now, but they just guaranteed that I will never spend 1 dollar yet alone a couple thousand.

Well right now they are sitting on my living room floor. I Bought them from a friend of mine. He had them in a 350z powered by the same PPI PCX-4125 that i have and they sounded amazing. The only reason i haven't put them in yet is because i need to build some kicks for them.

That is a sweet deal. I don't have the cash now, though. Gotta get rid of my crappy Boston components and sell my Prelude first.

They really are some nice speakers. I had a set on a rockford fosgate 750x and was really impressed, at really high volumes on certain sounds the tweeters were a bit harsh...but a very rare occasion.

 

simple they aren't making any money off them. why bother.

What is your personal opinion of Focal 165k2 vs. Rainbow Pros. I was thinking about trying out a set of Pros to compare them to the Focals. I loved the Vanadium Competition but have not heard the Pros yet.
