Default Question about the Tien S-tech springs

Hey guys

Im looking for a real conservative drop for my SH. I wanted to know how the Tien S-techs were. They only drop you about 1.2 inches and are fairly cheap. How's the spring rate, because i dont want something too soft and spongy.

I dunno, i was thinking of a KYB AGX and H&R Sport setup, maybe thats the best. What do you guys think? Should i stick with the H&R's or go for the Tiens? Keep in mind this is going to be an aggressive daily driver. Any opinions are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

PS: pics would be cool too

H&R Sports w/KYB AGX's is a nice combo. It drops about 1.5" and the ride is stiffer, but very tolerable. I personally have Neuspeed Sports and AGX's which drops about 1.7". I usually have it set to "2" which is 2nd to softest setting and the ride is alot stiffer than stock already. Also, the Neuspeed springs are progressive-rated which means it takes more force to compress the further down its pushed.

The S-tech's are nice but IIRC its linear-rated. However, TEIN is a very good name and I haven't heard any complaints from users yet.

Tein springs are very popular among WRX street cars and they are catching on for other models and makes too.

I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a good set of springs.

Ha they are not a linear spring. I went from S-tech (progressive spring) to linear springs (Eibachs GC/Koni) and they'll completely different.
