N00b here, new DA Owner! Progress pics of my ride!
Hi, everybody, this is the first thread I have posted on Honda-Tech, I have been on here for about a month now, just reading up on stuff and researching. This seems to be a very informative forum, I am liking everything I read, and the pictures in Appearance are awesome! Great looking cars, everybody!
I drove a 96 Mitsubishi GTO SR (sans AWD, of course!), and bought my previous beater car, a 1990 CB7 Accord, so I could keep the mileage on my GTO down. I made the decision to sell the GTO in 2003, I decided it was time for a new first car, but I still haven't decided, even now six-seven months later, what I want yet!
The CB7 was modded slightly when I got it, see pics below, and I did a few more things here and there... Earlier this year, I was offered a lot more money than it was worth, so I sold it... Went looking for a "new" beater car, and found a 1990 DA Integra GS for ONLY $400!!! It was in rough shape exterior-wise, but I had heard a lot of good things about the Integra platform performance-wise, so I figured $400 wasn't too bad, I could always clean it up a little and try to sell it down the road if the car didn't pan out...
So I set about cleaning it up!!! It's been 2-3 months now, and I just wanted to post pics of how the ride is looking... Yes, there's lots of primer everywhere, and it's very rice right now, but mostly out of boredom, the Advan stickers for example, I put on one day 'cuz I had nothing to do and I had inherited a bunch of them from my brother so I started sticking them on the car... No, I don't have Advan tires, I run Pirelli PZero Rosso tires up front and Continental all-weathers out back in an effort to get the rear end looser than the front... So yeah, it's ricey, but I am still working on it, hopefully I will be getting some parts from the motherland in the pipeline!

I believe that blue is off an Audi S4.

Wow! The Accord seems to be getting more response than the Teg!
DCcliffjumper2 and tig ole bistro: Yes, that is Audi S4 Nogaroblaue Perleffekt, the pictures do not do it justice, it is a beautiful color and a choice I was very happy with... Also, tig, the GTO is USDM Mitsu 3000GT, mine was a 96 base model with the 6G72 DOHC engine, rated at 222 chp and 205 ctq...
IntegNYC: Yes, I like white rims! I also like black rims, and gunmetal rims, and bronze rims, and silver or polished rims are always a classic choice...
Just kidding! I just thought the white would complement the stock blue-silver color nicely! As for the Advan stickers, I originally put one on the passenger side to try and distract from the big ole dent in the fender, and then I put one on the driver side to keep the car even visually! I suppose I could have just fixed the dent, but oh well...
3.504: Yeah, they're a pretty big combo, 17x7.5 with 225/45 tires, but I wasn't about to put rubber bands on... Atlanta roads are fairly okay, but there are some rough spots especially in the midtown and downtown areas...
