Right now It has around 50000 miles, and I dont think anybody ever changed the transmission fluid. I'm having a hard time finding the drain plug for the transmission fluid. (I know where the dipstick is )

Does anyone have a *detailed picture* of where the drain plug is. I searched through different sites and forums, but no luck at finding it!

Been looking under my car just starring and examining the sockets. Dont know which one to unscrew

Please someone help me

 

ok, alldata fricken sucks. i couldn't find you a picture. and i dont know where the actual plug is. alldata just says "remove plug, let drain, replace plug." what kinda info is that? anyways, on gm's you have to drop the pan and let the ATF spill out that way. you start by dropping one corner of the pan and work your way around until one side is coming down and you just let it drain. i also dont know where your transmission filter is, but i'm betting its behind the pan just like gm's. so i'd say just drop the pan cause your going to have to if the filter is behind it anyways.

oh yeah, if you've never dealt with ATF before, dont let it spill on anything cause that crap doesn't clean up that easy. ugh... its nasty stuff.

I was thinking it could be the yellow arrow one. Can someone confirm this!
