The Honda OEM = Adler connection?
Well basically Im at some shop yesterday and the guy is showing me the parts he uses at his shop and he tells me the clutch master cylinder is an OEM Honda piece. I asked him why it doesnt say Honda or Nissin on it, and he said that Honda made an extra batch of parts and Adler bought them, scratched off the Honda and Nissin logos and he can now sell them for cheaper. This sort of sounds like B.S. to me, so he showed me where the logo was "scratched off" and it was on the bottom side of the clutch master cylinder for my 94 Civic CX. I dont recall there being a logo there, I thought it said Nissin on the side of the clutch master cylinder. It was in a box and the company is called "Adler" or something along those lines. Someone fill me in here.
thats not how it works.
nissin and stanley (along w/ other manufacturers) have a deal w/ honda. they make the parts and honda buys them (Similar to outsourcing). It doesnt matter how many parts they made, honda buys them all. And they WILL NOT sell them to another company. That isnt done....ever
