This is some scary pic...Drive safe guys..

maybe the passenger with severe leg trauma and head tramau.. probably internal bleeding ect.
the driver area is smashed a little to much.. That accident is weird.. the car had to absorb the whole impact and basically take it like a champ... if you think in most accidents as things fly off it's disapating the velocity and momentum of the vehicle. it's like he hit a V and ntohing could break away.. i'm curious if the motor is now the center consol... i'm sure the legs were a mangled mess.. and just think .. in a 25mph accident.. wearing a seatbelt.. when you hit a barrier .. the contact area of the seatbelt puts like 500lbs of force on that area. (yes their is a physics equation that explains this dealing with Newtons first law and if you'ld like i'ld prove it)

it does not discuss what speed the collision happened nor why (ie, drunk driving, racing...). that looks like a dead on full speed frontal smash. 95% driver's error.
it's simple. don't do stupid things on the street that you will regret.

"Drive safe," No one, no matter how much equipment, can drive safely. One can only drive carefully.
If you drive fast off the street or on and you smack something at a high speed, you're risking your life. I will wager that at any road racing event you can lose your life. Even at some higher speed AutoX events with poorly designed courses.
Saying "drive safely blah blah blah" when you drive a R for thrills is hypocritical. Why do we have R's if we don't like that gut wrentching feeling of taking a curve at high speeds. Or enjoying the thrill of acceleration. Not accelerating rapidly and not cornering hard would be the only careful way to drive. But doesn't that destroy the whole point with a performance car, and especially the Type-R? Well, if you don't own a R for g-forces: what do you have it for? Appearance? Apparently so, which makes you a ricer!

Btw Frank right on! But I'd like to add to that "don't do stupid things on the street that you'll regret and especially not with a brand new car that you might not be used to." Who knows how well that driver ever got aquainted with his car.
