Not listening to any of you little queer "know it alls" again. I appreciate all the info from most members, but tired of the crap I get from the others. Some of you laughed at my 182-188whp post. Here are my new times you can suck on.
First run and slowest of the night:

To do this I took my power steering off, removed my seats, and took my cat off. The only mod I bought was a AEM CAI for $200. So there you go, a 14.038 for $200. One more thing. This was done on crap Nitto 450 300treadwear tires.

Reaction time NEVER figures in to the actual quarter mile run, it's just important when two people are racing each other...if car A races car B, and car A is twice as fast as B, but Car A leaves so late that car B finishes his run first, then even though Car A has a better 1/4 mile time he'll have lost to car B because of his terrible reaction time.
Whether you have a .0001 R/T and run 15.0 at 90 MPH, or a 10 second R/T and you run 15.0 at 90 MPH, you run a 15.0 at 90 MPH regardless. Don't subtract your R/T from your run

Your times are not surprising considering you ran open header.
A lot of us ran 14.4-14.6 completely stock. open header that would be
down to about 14.2 or so. throw in the AEM intake and bam, 14.0/high 13s.

Considering the rule of thumb is .1 second per 100 lbs... you could figure that out. It would still be a strong run!
Not true in bracket racing. Reaction time is very important. I wish I could take the time to explain now but It will have to wait.

I was doing drop clutch launches from about 4-5k and working the throttle just right. Air temp was about 58degrees I think. The weird thing is that on my best run I got one of my worst 60'times. I spun out almost against the rev limiter and shifted just as the tires hooked at redline. When I hit second though the tires hooked. Before I was getting alot of spin going into second. I think by spinning out a good bit in first allowed the tires to heat up and grab in second. I wanted to heat the tires before I went to the line but I didn't want to put to much wear on the clutch. Tire pressure was about 26-28psi. This was giving me higher trap speeds than putting them at 22psi.
My 13 sec mods will be getting some better tires such as SO-3's,Re010's, or if I go all out Yoko Advan A032's. Drag racing is cool, but I really want to get the R on a course with some turns.
