!!!!!! WHAT INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR TURBO?? !!!!!!!!!
well here goes.... I'm running a b16a1 with a custom turbo setup in my '89 hatch and i was thinking about changing my intake manifold, but there are a few choices out there and i was wondering which one might be the best for my setup.... I was thinking the JG Edlebrock manifold might be a good choice but i'm not sure, Skunk2 or Type R might produce similar results.... Anyways i don't know, if there is anyone out there who has a similar setup and has seen gains on any of these manifolds i would love to hear about it... Also curious about the hondata heatshield??? Dyno sheets would be awsome also.. Thanks for any and all insights
The Skunk2 makes great power as well as the JG. The JG is going to make more power higher in the revs (7k+).
The Hondata heatshields dyno/intake temp results are on the website, http://www.hondata.com

The jg is made well and extremely light too...if you need one I have an extra one you can buy
Let me know if you want the new or the used one! Check my sig for the link.

all depends on your setup. If your want a nice low-mid-range power it would have to be Skunk2/ITR manifold. If you want High-end and i mean HIgh the JG manifold would be best. its all about your setup. Like most setup its a Give and take relationship, but thats a different story.
no one got love for the AEBS intake manifold ? Supposely the AEBS intake make 3-5whp more then the skunk 2.

from what i know, the JG is designed for high revving in n/a, but this dude is turbo. if you go with the jg, your drivability will suffer with low boost, and when i say low, i'm mean 15 psi. that intake is designed for high boost apps. 20+ psi. if you are going to the track and want to rip off a crazy time with mad boost, then the jg is for you. if you enjoy your drivability, then i wouldn't reccomend it. the itr is a much better choice, it still flows very well in forced induction. if i were you, i would get a p30 intake and get it ported. if you are not revving beyond 8200, its going to probably make the most area under the curve over any of the others. its pretty much the best intake manifold for the b16, as long you are not trying to rev out of the roof.
