Sunroof Wont close all the way .. Perform search no answer.. PLEASE help
Well i searched and in 2 years i found 2 people with the same problem.. but neither got a solid answer....
WHen i close my sunroof the passenger side doesnt quite go down all the way... the rubber surrounding it is flush with the rooof... so the pass. side sticks out about 1/2in.. and the drivers side is in just fine.. I dropped the headliner... couldnt see much and the manual close does both sides you can't adjust one side versus the other...
Please help its comming into raining season... and i want to see if i can fix this personally, kinda poor since i just dropped 6k on a new motor and install...
thanks
Chris

I would say that one of the rails is binding...apply grease or WD-40 to the rails and see what happens.

so it's getting stuck? see if there are any obstructions on the railing for the sunroof like rocks, gunk etc., also, you might want to lube the rails up a bit too, because it just might need to be greased
i have this same problem, according to alldata (mechanics software for those that don't know), you need 2 sunroof stoppers, and you need to lube everything really well while you have it apart to replace the stoppers.

yea i was gonna go use my mechanics alldata... that program does rock btw...
the plastic stoppers that you speak off i think were the problem.. the one on the passenger side wasnt connected.. so i have to manully push it forward the other side is attached with a spring... but anyway.. it closes now.. thanks
