Default filter question

i've got an AEM short ram intake on my integra and i was wondering what inch filter is on it? i'd measure it on my car but i'm on vacation. i'm pretty sure its 2.75", but could i use a 3" filter?

well i think that the piping is 2.75 as well so a 3" filter will be too big. why do u want a bigger diameter filter? you can only take in so much air.

i don't really want it, its just that that's the only size they have on ebay. a 3" K&N filter for $30 sounds more appealing than a 2.75" for $70
