help.. cant take out rear mount
how do i take out firewall mount?? do i need to take the motor out???
i need to change mounts to new ones... im stuck! has anyone done this?? with mtor stil in:

i would try to loosen the other torque mounts and jack up the front of the engine in an effort to swing the motor/tranny forward enough to squeeze the rear mount out. I dunno if that would do it or not since I did my inserts while the engine was out. Good luck, though
i did mine when i swaped the clutch. i would try supporting the engine with a jack to take the weight off the mount, and see if you can work it out. if not you will prob need to take off the mounts that connect to the tranny and lower that whole side a little. gl

you only have to all 4 bolts that hold the bracket to the mount
and the 3 bolts for the mount itself
and then you should be able to wiggle, the mount and bracket, out
note: if you have the intake manifold brace still there, it will need to be removed as well
