hey..guys whats up i'm new here..but i'm only 14 and i'll be getting my car like next year...what kind of car do you guys reccomend me getting...i want a car that looks nice and that can be made pretty fast...thanks

Maybe it's just me...but common sense says that if you ask what car you should get in an Integra forum, 99% of the responses are gonna say "Get an Integra."

..makes sense to me.

 

well before i do anything im going to become a better driving and get the hang of it and stuff but i mean later on?

nope, id start with 2nd gen hatch.

ofcourse thats after you master stick, and are a responsible driver.

Forgive us for taking this lightly, but you have to note that you are only 14 and trying to decide on a car. You also have to note that this in an annonymous internet forum and that because of this, there is tons of bullshit here. If we laugh, laugh with us rather than take it personally.

soo, pretty much any civic or non-vtec integra?

a gen2 integra ls or rs would suit you fine. maybe a civic hx coupe. get something that is cheap to use and maintain, easy to work on, a little fun and won't get you into trouble. my first car was a 97 honda civic hx, and then i bought my dad's 90 integra. i still have access to the mercedes and olds 442 though.

i do agree, learn to drive WELL first. you may think you'll be a great driver, sadly...you won't be. truth hurts. we've all been through that stage in our life. many on HT are still going through it.

Yes, get an Ecslipse and have to fix it five times more often than you would a Honda. It'll be a great way to develop your automotive skills.
