I have no idea if this is true, but it sounds possible. This is for peeps in Australia only, dont know if it works in the US. Apparently you can set your mobile to become a radar detector, this is what I was told to do. This is for Nokias only, don't know how to do it for other phones:

go to Menu -> Settings -> Security Settings -> Closed User Group.
Select On. It will ask for a group number, and type in 00000.
Then exit out of the menu. On your screen it should have this little icon with 00000 next to it. This will disappear after about 3 seconds. Now when your driving and your in the vicinity of the radar, this icon with the 00000 should come back on.

Here in Australia the police number is 000, so the 00000 might have something to do with it. U guys in the states should try 91100 or 00911 or something, this is probably a big load of BS but id laugh if it works

That would be nice if it were really that easy...like Chris said, our phones don't have those menus.
