rsx type R in states ?
whats up im using my brothers name to post a message on this board. im a previous owner of an itr im on the market for a new car and was wondering if there is any idea when the rsx type r will be here.
there is no such thing as an RSX Type-R

If we do get an RSX Type R (which is what it would be called here), there is a good chance that it will come with the Type S motor, just like the Australian cars...

Heh, yeah, cause car dealers would never lie to you...I'm sure they'd have a real problem taking your deposit regardless of whether or not the Type-R is comming...

I disagree. We already have a type S while australia did not. Therefore, I think honda with try to get people to buy the type S then in two years make our RSX type R's about 215hp, no recaros, no brembos and limited edition ( in japan, ITR's werent really limited edition). By then the ITR's in japan may have had an update to make them even better (such as what they did in 98+, America got the 96 spec when japan got the 98 spec), which would make the gap between the NA ITR and Japan ITR even greater.
Either we will get a slightly watered down ITR ( RSX type R) like the DC2 non-jap ITR's or we will not get a RSX type R at all.
