Ne1 notice the CTR Recaros..
Good news: CTR seats for the European market are destined for the new Civic Si here in the US..
Bad news: Japan, of course gets a new set of recaros for their new Civic Type-R. grrr..
See below:
The JDM CTR seats look similar to the "Sport" model of Recaro, and are not the SRIIIs/SRx as before.

Actually UK spec seats a Euro Recaros restyled..which look abit like STi recaro and some Lancer verisons.
The Civic Type R in Japan is call The Brit Civic Type R since it's no longer built or made in Japan..all in Swidon factory the new car is made. The seats in the Brit Civic Type R in Japan is actually the same seats that come in Acorrd Type R in the UK just in red instead of black.

Besides the seat differences on the new CTR the JDM verison has alittle more compression in the engine. The UK spec 11 to 1 comp. ratio, JDM spec is 11.5 to 1 comp. ratio. This could account for differences in power that and new emission laws in the UK which are not in Japan.
Also the dampers on the UK verison are abit softer then the JDM verison because Japanese roads are just plain smoother and don't require the softer sus as much. But don't get me wrong the UK sus has been compared to the UKspec ITRs. Also the wheels in Japan was Champ. white whilst the UK spec ones come std in chrome alloy look but I've been told they can be changed out for the white counter parts. Also the gear ratios are all the same except for 4th-6th which are just slightly shorter then the UKspec CTR..mostly due to the fact speed limitors in Japan, something which the UK spec version don't have to bother with since the car has been reported max speed around 147-150mph. But besides this these are the only differences I can find unless they us slightly different exhaust sys or manifold.
