Default Hayame coilovers installed

Just installed Hayame full coilovers. To put all the guessing to rest. They ride good-as-hell. I used them to replace Tein S-Techs w/ Tokico adj. Love the Hayame kit 100x better.Don't be scared, they worth the money. Thanks.

Um that's kind of impossible bro.

Can you clarify exactly what you are talking about? Tein SS are a complete coil-over system with threaded strut bodies - that'd be hard to use with Tokico Illuminas.

Sorry, I meant S-Techs. Trust me, I have been in the import scene for 5 years I know how to tell a quality ride. S-Techs are great if you still want to be able to fit a phone book between your tire and fender.

Let's make THIS the official Hayame coil-over topic.

We don't need 5 topics about the same thing on page 1 of the EG+Civic/Del Sol Forum.

What kind of background in this "scene" are you coming from that makes you such an expert?

A comment like this makes me think you installed the suspension for looks only, and have no idea what a good performance oriented setup truly is.

I've bought myself a set of these, they seem good quality and have all the features you'd expect from a $1000 coilover.

Anyone else using these on their cars?

Well they are 3 bolt and aluminium, they are also nearly the same rates as SS's which are only 2 bolt and mild steel... so the Hayames have many advantages. They are custom Tokico shocks, which isn't a bad thing.

thats is comforting to know that a decent quality company makes there shocks, now if you could find out who makes there springs, then i might just give these the big ol but untill then im still doubting them.

They appear to be skunk2 springs from the part number.
