My freind and me have this ongoing discussion about this topic. He says that it's possible to put a h22(dohc vtec) head on his f22 non-vtec motor. I say its not possbile because it probably won't even line up. I want to get a ht opinion.

 

Yes it is possible, but is it cost worthy. Hard to say. Yes the head can spin to 8k but the bottom end won't like it and will not last long. Do a search for it and you will find all you need.

 

Why would you want to do this hybrid engine?

Plus you have to modify the oil lines. There was a topic on here not to long ago. Do a search.

 

Some people might want to do this swap so that they could have a better flowing head for f/i and a bottom end that is stout enough and very cheap to replace. Just a thought.
