...ok so i started out with a hatch... (92-95) and had a b16b in it....wreck it, got a 95 gsr.....type R head swap all motor street beast, and now ive moved outta the B series and into the H series..... i love my prelude (95 dohc vtec) but am befuddled on where to begin.... ive got intake and pulleys on it... and i cant decide which direction to take... NA or Turbo.... with turbo ive heard theres lots of "fabrications" to be made... such as cutting half a front motor mount...? ? i know the batteries gotta go in the trunk... and the washer fluid resivoure has to be removed, but i thought id ask you guys which way youd like to see the 95 'lude to go....

Why do you want other people to tell you what to do to your car? Do what YOU want to do

It depends on what you plan on doing with the car... street/stip/track etc etc.

N/A will be more dependable than turbo, but to get GOOD gains you will to spend A LOT of money, more than the cost of a turbo which would give you twice+ the horsepower.
Turbo if done right, will yield excellent gains and be somewhat "dependable". If you do a shitty job on it.... BOOM.

some good interanls (not much dough) and he is good to go, i'd assume.

i'd say you are into the n/a from the previous days, get with that unless you want real power, then boost the **** out of it, tony (precisionh23a) has a nice list of mods to his car.

hmm, n/a is my choice. So go figure.

i'm working on boosting my lude right now, so i've been in your situation and after a whole lot of thought, also considering centrifugal superchargers, decided turbo was the way i wanted to go. N/A setups, as mentioned, cost a lot for serious gains, especially if you really bump up the compression (jun makes a 2.7 litre stroker kit.) i didn't want to run race gas, as i want to keep this a daily driver, so i ruled that out. i'm not sure what your goal is but here are the basics of the setup i'm working on: dartons sleeves and deck kit, JE 9:1 pistons, crower rods, stock crank, gude head package, ferrea valves, and a t3/t4 kit ( .63 AR/ 60 trim )
i'm building the engine to handle 20 psi though i don't ever plan on running it that high, i just want to be careful of boost spike and have a built engine so it can take the abuse i plan to give it.

sorry i dont have much input on going N/A, i never really looked into it much after i decided i was gonna run boosted. let me know how much power you're looking for, low, mid, or top end, and how you plan on driving. if you go with a turbo setup i would say sleeving is necessary even though you can usually get away without it at low boost. most t3/t4 kits are efficient at 350 whp for h22a's and are capable of pushing a lot more. give me a little more to work with and i'll see if i can help

Are you serious? H-t is a great resource to ask others opinion before you go and waste your own money, I only wish I used it more before my swap.
I'd assume that they know a little about problems that they might have run into since they have been there...
