Default Did I get Type-R Springs?

I think that I just picked up a set of four Type-R springs. However, the guy I got them from had mixed them up with some other springs, so neither of us was completely sure which ones were which. I wound up taking the four that were shorter, and they all had a purple stripe as part of the paint code.

So here's the question: Does anybody know either the color codes or the uncompressed lenght and number of coils for 2000 ITR springs? I would appreciate the help VERY much!!

Thanks a million- that's really a load off. One has pair has purple/blue/grey, the other has purple/green/blue.

When I got my brand new ITR springs, they were about 13". The GS-R springs were 15" when I took them off.

Well, you can definately figure out if the rear springs are from a Type R, because they are progressive and the coils would be closer together on top and further apart on the bottom. Also, there would be a plastic spacer surrounding the "dead" coils, which are the springs closer to the top.

There isn't really another way to identify the front springs other than putting it side by side by your OE springs and see which one has thicker coils. It should also be the shorter one too (which is what you picked right?).

All right! Thanks so much you guys for calming my fears- I went out at lunch and measured them- 13" and 11.5", respectively, definitely progressive. And, yeah, there were those rubber bump-stops at the tight end.

Beers all 'round!!
