Hi,

I hit a Manhole and the back of the muffler came apart. Talked to a few muffler shop and all said it can't be fixed. Is it possible to get it warranty?

why would it be under warranty? put out the $$$ and buy a new muffler.

 

driving over stuff is not covered by any warranties. You might be able to sue the city you live in - but good luck. Was there no manhole cover? How did your exhaust hit the ground. Just wondering.

split.. like as in the seam for the muffler? where the round part of the can is connected to the backing?.. i had a muffler shop just throw a little weld on it.. fixed ...

 

Hey onyx.. lay off man. I unintentionally made that post on chris' name(topspeed86) earlier when i added his new avatar. i wasnt paying attention to the subject at hand, i just wrote hahaha to the first topic on the board to see if his avatar worked. relax...

 

oh, and another thing..

i WILL add another 'hahaha' to this thread for the guy thinking this is under warranty.

a manhole is not a manufacturer's defect.

Yeah, take it to your local country/city people... take a pic of the manhole and take a pic of your broken exhaust. That chit is not safe to have open manholes.
