Default Magnaflow Oval question

Hey there peeps......I am planning to get a Magnaflow Oval, and I am debating on getting a muffler tip for it or not......but it will defintely be paited flat black......does anyone have pics of their oval with a tip on it? and if you do what kind?......or should i just get the thing welded on, and call it a day?

you can see pics of the muffler with no tip on their site. I suggest you don't ad any tip on there. That was the only reason holding me back from gettting a cat back.

would it be better to get the stainless steel one and paint it black (for rust reasons)
or should I get the aluminum one and paint it black?

nope just clean it very well with dish washing soap and water. I still actually have the muffler. The paint never came off or chipped or faded. I used 1000degree high heat satin black paint.

The muffler is actually on a turbo 4age powered 72 Corona

i'm looking for an oval muffler myself, preferrably, 3" inlet/outlet.

are the magnaflow oval mufflers a straight through design and perforated core?

I dunno but I am able to see through across on mines. You can drop a marble and it'll fall straight out.

mounted properly like my pic above, you won't need to clean it any extra.

with no resonator, no cat, and 2.5" piping, you'll sound like a bee glued to a megaphone
