well i might be wrong... but from my understanding SIR-t is the stick f20b, and SIR is the auto f20b.... h23a vtec is an automatic that came in a wagon.

correct.. i think that its like 190 or 200hp .. we have no stats on redline, but it comes with an automatic triptonic transmission ..

99+ Accord SiR-T Wagon .. if you do some searching you can see a pic of the car it comes out of with blue valve cover.

Because its an H23 block, H22 head .. you get low end torque but can't rev it as high without spinnin a bearring .. Because its auto .. if you really want just buy a long block, hook it up to a P13 ECU and a manual H22/H23 transmission ..

As far as the ECU goes .. I think the SiR-t wagon is ODB2 so you may need to change injectors/distributor to make it work with a P13 ODB1 ECU ..

I'm considering doing this next year ... long block, odb1 convert...

The motor is a H23A Vtec. It was run in the accord wagons and could be specially ordered with a manual tranny. It is run a good 200hp and around 162ft lbs. of tourqe. It is not the same as the F20B. And there is no such thing as an h23a non-vtec in japan. That is a motor only made in the united states. In japan and other countries that motor is an F22B DOHC. Same exact motor except a tad smaller bore. Same head and everything in it as well is the same. The H23 Vtec motors are awsome motors, however i agree with Yohan, it may be a bit feeble on top end power. But hey, i would say go for it, parts wouldnt be hard to find incase some freakish thing did happen.
