o2 sensor wire problem, using the p28 on a d15b?

o2 sensor wire problem, using the p28 on a d15b?
Im going to swap soon, and my only concern about this swap is the o2 sensor. Im going to run a p28 ecu on a d15b. The p28 will only read a 4 wire o2 sensor...and on the d15b block has a single wire, along with the d15b harness...1 single wire "wire" to connect to the o2 sensor. So...would i have to get a seperate 4 wire "wire" and a 4-wire o2 sensor...and connect it to the ecu "seperately" from the harness?

do a search, i've seen a 1wire to 4wire 02 conversion on here or hondawap.com , maybe dseries.org? Otherwise its easier to use a dx or ex wire harness and just connect a 4 wire o2 sensor with the p28. I'm using a P28 and that is what i did- use a 92-95 EX harness 5spd with the four wire oxygen sensor...makes life easier

Agree
If the eng is going into a 92-95 Civic, the Si/EX harness is available for you to run the P28.
If it's 88-91 Civic/CRX it's easier to run the JDM P08

just use the p08, it is the original ecu that was designed for that motor and it uses the one wire o2, the p28 was designed for the d16z6 it will work and work well becuase the motors are very close and have most of the same compontents, however the two motors have slight differences such as a differnt cam, wouldnt u rather have the exact ecu for the motor? p08

good luck stretching the jdm harness... mine was UNcut but you'll have to cut n crimp besides flipping it around... JDM is RHD...

oohh, thats right...my motor is jdm rhd. LOL forgot about that. **** i would probably have to get a spare harness and extend d15b harness. My original cx harness is crap anyways "single wire".

Has anybody ever done this d15b swap w/ its original harness? Im wondering if i would need to exend them...because it looks like the harness would reach. Im not too sure, since its from a rhd i could be wrong.

I stretched the rhd harness when I did my swap.
I didnt have to cut or lengthen any wires.
The only wire that didnt reach was the thick white wire that runs from the alternator to the fuse box.
I just pulled that wire out of my original harness and used that one.

on jdm cars...i think the fuse box and the battery are on the left hand side instead of the driver's side. It looks like the other parts of the harness is going to reach.
