new guy,need help on ITR piston and rods

I have a question about ITR piston and rods. Will they fit into a b18 non vtec block? I plan on doing a ls vtec. need answer will help. thanks.

just stick with the LS rods (w/arp rod bolts)...get them shot peened if you have the $$$

shot peened yes...will the fit directly on the LS rods? no.. you will have to mill the small end of the rod 1mm on each side for the ITR piston to fit on the ls rod..after you mill the rod is when you shot peen to regain the suface strength back.
