Hey accord guys. My GF has a 99 accord auto 4-door 4 cylinder ex. and she wants to build it up. I've seen some clean accords in the pic thread and im wondering what is an easy swap for her accord? Which series would go in the easiest? what do you guys have in your accords? thanks

The H22A (prelude dohc vtec motor) should fit in there fine, most likely with a little fabrication. I suggest you use the search function at the top of the page, as there is LOTS of useful information on this board.

Yea the h22 is the bomb for reliability. If she has low miles you could keep the 4banger (f23 I believe) and toss in a snail. Either way plan on either beefing up that auto tranny or swapping to a manual. 6th gen auto trannies suck NTM you won't get much out of the swap or FI. Welcome to accords
