FS: Precision Power PCX-480 amp
I'm selling my Precision Power PCX-480 amp, which I bought to run my 2 sets of Boston Pro components. It puts out 80w x4 @ 4ohm and 160 x4 @ 2ohm, so at the 3ohm load of these components, the amp should put out 120w to the Bostons. Bridged, it'll do 320w x2 @ 4ohms.
Great shape -- not a scratch on it.
more specs here: http://www.precisionpower.net/pcx280.html
theZEB carries this thing for $600
asking $300
I'm in Houston, so if you're local, we can meet up; otherwise, shipping is at buyer's expense (and this thing is pretty heavy
).
That's a 12" ruler, just so you can get an idea about the size.

Currently (and for quite a while, now) the only amps like this on eBay for $200 are refurbs -- not new. If you do buy a refurb, you're kind of rolling the dice on the amp -- will it work right or not? If it doesn't, you have only whatever warranty the seller offers (for whatever that's worth). My amp, on the other hand, positively works. I've been watching them on eBay for a while, as I was thinking of adding a second one of these to run my subs, but decided not to.
Besides, when the modifier "asking" is used before the listed price, this indicates that the price is up to negotiation.
I'm willing to deal.
cheers
