For instance, a guy passed me going the opposite way on a country highway, I was going 75 MPH or so. At some point this guy turns around and Five minutes later caught up with and passed me, braked and signaled to pull over. On guard I pull over and roll my window down a bit, He just said "Nice F@ckn R" Then he went on unprompted about what he had done to his car for half a minute until I told him I was running late and had to go. I'm sorry, I really did not care at the moment and yes I was running late. Also the time a dude pulled up next to me when I was in the long drive through line and talked to me until I paid for my grub. Young over excited enthusiasts need to understand that most people don't want to be pulled over, followed, questioned, or without being asked hear about their car for half the day. I personally find it annoying, a thumbs up will do. Save the enthusiasm for the meet or car show.

Kids pull up next to me and ask "Is that a real type r?" all the time, and when I say yeah, they go nuts. It's a honda, and it gets more attention than most baller cars on the road (benz's, bimmers, etc.)

I had a group of guys come up to me with a video camera asking if I would pop the hood for them while I was in a store parking lot "talking" to my girlfriend. I was like, yeah, come back in 15 minutes.

i was like NO . i wont sell my car. he was checking my car out and asked me if he can sit in my car. and i let him sit in my seat for a bit.

I always see people breaking there necks as I drive by to keep looking at the PY hotness and an occasional thumbup...

i always get the little kids looking pointing and screaming at it as they tell there mommy they want one ... hahahah

and then i get the death look from all the ricer's, they break there necks to look at it too but it worrys me cause i know there thinking dam i wish i had that .... or dam i am gonna steal that.

 

i've got 2 memorable times. Once I went to streets of Woodfield (for all my chicago guys know where that is at) and as soon as i got out of my car these 3 guys were at my door with a video camera like, "will you do a burnout for our racing video?" I was not in the mood to buy new tires, so i said no.

The next, I was driving and saw a blue car pass me, i turned right on another street and after a few minutes saw a blue car behind me a ways back. Well i was with a friend and was going to pick another guy up so we could all go to lunch. THis guy follows me on another turn and is right on my tail flashing his lights. (we are now on a very slow residential street.) He finnaly pulls up next to me and is like wanna race for money right now. (afternoonish of a wednesday i think) I was like., no i am going to lunch. So he floored it in the left lane with a car oncoming and almost hit the lady. What a moron.

 

Being a girl and having the pimp color R....CW....I had too many stalkers trying to follow me home, and some that would follow me to wherever I was going...

Ya i get the "is that a real type R" comments all the time for the last 3 years lol. And the open the hood to video tape thing once in awhile, and looks ALL the time lol. Also it seems that when im am cruisin on sunday night, where ever i go all the imports start following me as if im going to the races or somethin and im really just taking a cruise lol

 

i had a kid come up to me today, asking about my car....I told him it was a stock integra.

I can't stand nosey people.

if it's at a meet its one thing...if its when I'm playing with my son in the front yard....its something else.

 

Some of you guys like to imagine things...I guess that's why we get stereotyped with the ITR Elitist idea...whatever makes you feel better about yourself though...

Im with you man....But thats a good thing. Actually sometimes I get asked questions but not to often, I guess the stunna SI is not as stunnafied as a HYPE R.

**** if I see a type-r and the owner is not a jackass I will compliment them. Hell, I would love to own one. But for crying out loud it IS an integra....different strokes different folks I guess.

But as said earlier and I will agree, random people hype the r up more than the owners, so there is nothing you guys can do about it I guess.

 

When i first bought my R, i noticed alot of stares, tons and tons of stares.. Im used do it now. My gf always say "that guy was staring at you".

I get "its a real TYPE R" all the time, i just tell them its a bad *** Ls Swap
